Meghan Jarvis is a former elite BMX racer, professional athlete, Australian Ninja Warrior competitor, performance specialist and entrepreneur whose career has been built around understanding what allows people to perform at their best.

Growing up in Canada, Meghan raced BMX from the age of five and became the country’s number-one-ranked rider for seven years, competing internationally on the world championship circuit. She later played competitive basketball before moving to Australia, where her career evolved from elite sport into coaching, exercise science, education and business.

With postgraduate qualifications in coaching science and a background in kinesiology, sports science and exercise physiology, Meghan went on to found WellCorp Health & Wellness, developing wellbeing and performance programs across corporate, sporting and entertainment environments.

Her career has also taken her in front of the camera and onto film sets, including competing on Australian Ninja Warrior and working as an actor and stunt performer.

In The 8th Voice, Meghan explores what elite sport teaches us about resilience, identity, pressure and reinvention, and why true performance is about far more than physical strength.
