Bianca Dye is one of Australia’s most recognisable radio and television personalities, with a broadcasting career spanning more than 25 years across some of the country’s biggest media markets.

From helping launch Nova 96.9 in Sydney to leading breakfast and drive programs across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Illawarra, Bianca has built her career on an ability to connect with people through humour, curiosity and unusually candid conversation.

A multiple-award-winning broadcaster, she has interviewed some of the world’s biggest names in entertainment, including Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Pink, Michael Bublé, Justin Timberlake and Quentin Tarantino, while also becoming a familiar face across Australian television.

But behind the public personality is a far more personal story.

Bianca has spoken openly about anxiety, body image, fertility and IVF, miscarriage, endometriosis, domestic violence and being diagnosed with ADHD later in life. Rather than separating those experiences from her public career, she has increasingly used her platform to bring difficult and deeply human subjects into the open.

Her willingness to be vulnerable, laugh at herself and talk about subjects many people struggle to articulate has become as much a part of Bianca’s story as broadcasting itself.

In The 8th Voice, Bianca moves beyond the microphone and the public persona to explore identity, vulnerability, ageing, relationships, mental health and what happens when the person who has spent a lifetime asking everyone else the questions finally turns those questions inward.
